I’ve seen all kinds of tactics in tabletop combat. From just kicking in the door and figuring it out as you go, to carefully organized breach protocols to minimize risk. Any notable stories about unique or interesting team tactics?

DM: That’s all for now. I mean, you can generally assume that restoring this harmonious tree will have repercussions down the line, but as far as immediate effects, that’s it.  
Pinkie Pie: And now the future characters we played in the flash-forward session can deal with it!  
Rarity: Always nice to straighten out a timeline.  
Fluttershy: ^I really really hope we didn’t make a mistake…^  
Applejack: Take a deep breath. We’re fine.  
DM: You all notice after a few moments that the Elements’ gold accessories had quietly faded away.  
Twilight Sparkle: Gah! That’s creepy… Guess that makes it official. No pressing the Undo button on this.  
Rarity: All that’s left is to await Tirek and Discord’s attack. I think we’ve just about used up all our “free time,” have we not?  
DM: Pretty much, yeah.  
Fluttershy: I know the plan is to let Twilight do all the fighting… But I still feel like we should be in Ponyville when it happens.  
Rarity: What if Twilight stayed here for now? Spike could signal her.  
Pinkie Pie: Operation Waste As Much of Their Time As Possible is a go!  
DM: I’m not sure there’s much more you all can do with more borrowed time…  
Applejack: Actually, Ah think it’s a decent plan. We need every advantage we can get, and that includes surprise. This is a place of harmonious power now, so they won’t wanna go near it unless they hafta.  
Rainbow Dash: Better than nothin’.  
Rarity: That covers the five of us, then. What’s your strategy when it’s time to fight, Twilight?  
Twilight Sparkle: Ummmmmm… Win?  
Applejack: …  
Fluttershy: …  
Rarity: …  
Rainbow Dash: …
