Heya!
 
I bet you all guessed it but here we have the 2nd part of my little traditional couple image with BonBon as the Candy Maker and Lyra as the Candy Taker. Having a mare friend that loves making candy and treats sure might turn you into a little of a sweet tooth. That’s what this lovely unicorn is and so much more.
 
I wanted to make a “typical Lyra”~~like drawing and added everything that I consider very Lyra-ish right into it ~~ she’s using her magic to lift/levitate her favourite instrument, a lyre that marks her talent for music, but even more so we see her love for humans as she turns her magic aura into literal hands that can hold bon bons made by her lover and feed her. Lyra, in my opinion, is a sweet, cheeky, sometimes naive but always very kind and joyful unicorn and that’s what I wanted to show here.
 
To be honest, I am very proud of this drawing for MANY reasons. Fiorst of all, I think that hand turned out well and I used my own hand for reference xD Additionally, I took a lot of time, care and effort into her magic, bringing it to a new level by adding many different shades of colours and even the strong white marker for some special effects as well. Believe me, it’s not easy to do on paper. And lastly, the colouring. It might not show but during the time of me creating this piece, I had no bright shade of turquoise with me and I had to improvise, putting in much more bright yellow to blend in the highlight parts. My Buttercup Yellow died during that process XD
