First, It’s just a theory, it doesn’t have to be taken seriously.
 
It’s been a while since I made a crazy theory, but after knowing the name of the G5 villain and seeing her several times, I felt like she reminded me of someone, I didn’t know who, but suddenly I ended up watching an episode of the series of Pony Life and I was surprised to see this.
 
Did the writers do this on purpose or were they just referencing or are the MLP series more connected than we all think?
 
Doesn’t it seem strange to you that after the G4 series ended, the Pony Life series began almost immediately? Not so much, many series try to release chibi versions to continue selling products or things like that.
 
But let’s suppose that the clues that the G5 comics show us, tells us that a unicorn tried to plant hatred and distrust in the ponies… and remembering that the G4 comics showed us civilizations of ponies in distant lands that they wanted to invade Equestria, possibly someone or some managed to sneak in undetected and cause Equestria’s alliances to start to fracture (again, I guess).
 
Which caused Twilight and her friends to create the crystals to turn off the magic, however, before the magic turned off, a unicorn (or possibly alicorn) imprisoned the girls in a dimension type “The Matrix”, where they we would know as “Pony Life”, she also locked up Princess Celestia, Princess Cadance, Shining Armor, among others, however; she failed to capture Princess Luna, Flurry Heart, and Starlight Glimmer (for that reason we didn’t see them in the Pony Life series). But what about Discord? (We don’t know if he was influenced or tricked by the evil pony, we’ll have to wait for the G5 or the comics).
 
And the evil Pony, would enter that reality, with the name of Potion Nova(Isn’t it strange that in some scenes it was a unicorn and in other scenes it was an alicorn?, animation error? or isn’t it?), where it would approach to the Mane 6, to get information from the crystals, but the illusion of the dimension affected the memory of the mares and they don’t know that they are locked up.
 
Maybe I’m thinking too much, maybe there is no connection between the series and it will go another way, but if there is, don’t you think it would be possible to bring the mane 6 back? (for one or a couple of episodes) After all that happened in G4 (with Starswirl and stuff). Or maybe the villain might just explain to us what really happened to Twilight and her friends.
 
We will have to wait to know the answer.
