Twily live in concert -> 01/01/21  
This was a quick sketch I did and that I decided to finish. Just a Twi on guitar and I know, why Twilight? why grown up Twilight? why not Dashie if she is most appropiate? Well, it’s a long story but I’ll try to summarize it:
 
I always (since 2016) loved Dire Straits and by 2017 I started mixing my other love (MLP) with that. At first I liked to mix the EQG variant with Dire Straits but some time later I decided to mix the pony versions instead. And with the last episode back in 2019 an idea came to my mind, something that could even be an interesting fanfiction (If only I was good in writing..). “What if Twilight, thinking of something to do with her best friends to avoid lose them with the time because of her new duties as Equestria’s new leader, she decided to form a rock band?” There are a lot more of things to tell but maybe in another moment. So that’s the reason she is the leader and not Dashie instead. And why grown up? Well, this is based in the future of her band so that’s the reason I decided to draw her in the “Princess Twilight 2.0” style.
 
And that’s all, you may like this rare idea or not but this is what I love and that’s why it seems okay to me. One last fact: I draw this based on the ’92 concert in Nimes (France) from Dire Straits.
