Yet again, I have a MILLION post that should’ve been posted in APRIL! This is one of them (procrastination will be the DEATH OF ME TwT)…. While I was on the topic about the Crystal Empire and such, why not bring up Princess Cadence????  
 
《BACKSTORY… or whatever ;w;》  
 
Before Empress Mi Amore Carmine Heart’s passing (due to Sombra) she had a runaway son with an unknown lover in which he would carry on the “Heart” bloodline down to Cadence. Through skeptical historians and DNA tests, in attempts to rediscover the lost Heart bloodline, they were able to find Cadence. (However, she wouldn’t know how major their discovery of her was until later).  
 
She was originally born an orphan, but was adopted by the Royal family in Canterlot (due to her strong magical abilities and rare connections with crystal magic at the time). She became a Princess through Celestia and Luna’s guidance. She was like a niece for the two Queen’s, and Cadence in return saw them as Auntie’s. (Btw, Cadence was born AFTER King Terrain’s passing).  
 
Music and dance was her passion, but so was being an understanding and loving therapist for others. Sure I said Luna is a “therapist”, but only a personal one for Rarity XP. Cadence is a “true” therapist, as she loves and accepts those first, and doesn’t correct/judge them. She’s a great listener, slow to anger and takes everything anyone says into consideration. Now she’s not perfect. She may sugar coat things a little too much, because she feels obligated to keep her honest opinions in. However, she’s not a pushover nor a liar. She will say something if she “has” to, for her patiences’ sake.  
 
As a young pretty pink princess, society put a lot of exceptions on her. So sometimes, she may become overwhelmed or stressed to look and act a certain way (y’know, all cutesy-wootsy, and lovey-dovey). But she’s learned meditation and yoga routines to keep her mind in check. Her musical and dancing passions are also outlets, especially when she’s alone. Spa days also help XP. And because she knew she was so flawed, it wasn’t hard for her to dump Buck, and fall in love with a big ole nerd– Shining Armor X)))!

Decades later, Twilight and the gang rediscovered and retrieved the Crystal Empire. An Empire that was once invisible due to a curse. An Empire that Cadence was mysteriously connected to. If you’re wondering, Cadence was the one to feel its presence (and Sombra’s too) once it returned. The Queens knew she was special. (Now they knew why those historians were so stoked to find her).  
 
In my headcanon, once the Empire was set and stone, the Crystal Ponies opted to have her as their new leader (yet Spike as their Savior X))). And like they always do to new royalty in their culture, they renamed her “Mi Amore Cadenza Heart”. After the birth of her first child, Princess Flurry Heart, she and Shining Armor would be called Emperor and Empress.  
 
Later on in my next-gen, Cadence will find out that she is related to Sombra. She revolted at this revelation, but figured it was fact as she could constantly feel Sombra lingering. HOWEVER, I won’t reveal how their relationship ends up or concludes….YET. So stay tuned..(and please forgive any more hiatus I might do in the future TwT).

☆ Random Fun Fact I meant to mention long ago: Empress Amore not only created the Crystal Faire to continue “Union Day” but more modernized. But on top of that, outside of her culture, she created “Hearts and Hooves Day” for all of Equestria to celebrate the Crystal Faire in spirit. These holidays in either culture don’t land on the same day, nor season. Hearts and Hooves Day is in the late Winter, while the Crystal Faire, mid-Spring. If you think about it, both holidays not only represent love, but the unity, charity and sacrifice that comes with it. So on both holidays it’s expected for pony’s to craft gifts, make food, have festivities and spend time with their loved ones.

That’s it y’all. I don’t know why it took me a century to post this short and simple post TwT. Now after this, I’m done talking about the Crystal Empire! For now….
