Rambling Rock Ridge Random encounter: 14
 
You roll a 14 (required 10). Success!
 
You and Moonflower decide to venture deeper into the mountains, where the skybound peaks are most likely to be bountiful.
 
You equip 2 Mirror Shin Guards, and Tempered Simple Breastplate.
 
After putting on your armour, you begin climbing up and down rocky slopes, making your way over ridges and onto higher grounds, while scanning each new height for increasingly sparse greenery.
 
As time goes by, a few white clouds drift southward overhead, casting soft shadows upon the sunbeaten land. The short respites from the summer sun’s heat are a welcome addition to the dusty gusts of wind ruffling your hair every now and again.
 
After navigating the arduous terrain for a while, you notice something bright in the distance, though it is rather difficult to tell whether or not it could be anything more than a trick of the light under the high noon sun.
 
Moonflower: “Ooh, I think you’re right! There’s somethin’ there!”
 
As you excitedly look around for a way to reach your potential find, a large armoured dog-like creature rises out of seemingly nowhere, and promptly blocks your path. With a spear in paw, it intimidatingly points to Moonflower, and speaks in a gruff voice.
 
Diamond dog: “Nice hat… we want. Pony gives.”
 
Surprised by the diamond dog’s sudden appearance, you take a step back, only to realize that a second one stands behind you, preventing any retreat.
