It is always an honor for Pieta to entertain the guests in Hisan’s palace. Belly dance is her passion where she is free and let all the stress out. For a time she has been practiced for herself, since belly dance is great for exercises of the body, such as for the fitness, coordination, agility, and muscles. Usual, Pieta is shy to be around larger groups and events where ponies join. Feeling everypony complains about her 250 cm height or the fact she is a sphinx.
 
This is her night where she let all these emotions go and making herself free in the center of the room. Somnambula is the one who convinced Hisan to let Pieta entertain. But it is much more than making Pieta comfortable around ponies. It is a quistion about secure an alliance with Siwa (the Sphinx) if she wants be a part of the pony culture. Pieta is her short servant and Siwa got the idea years back, that a small sphinx could be the gateway between ponies and sphinxes. Her own way to secure her safety and the difficult proccess of being reformed.
 
Pieta dances with grace and pride to the exotic music. Her hips floats like water, as her legs with just few steps moves her around and closer to audience. Incense burners sends there sweet smoke up around her, almost like she controls it. Her eyes focuses either on her chest or on the roof, in some sort trance. She keeps going as her arms and fingers flows and draws a picture in the air. Perhaps she is telling a story? And you witness it.
 
Pieta finishs her dance and needs a moment to relax before she walks back to the guests and her close friend Somnambula. But you follows her from a little distance. Moments later, you step into a large room where you spots her tall feminine body in a hammock. She sees you, like she knew you followed her. But it is not really a big surprise, since sphinxes has great hearing. The feminine sphinx gentle smiles as she waves with her large exhausted feets. Feets large enough to break bones with a single kick.

Pieta asks: “Is you a fan or just a curious mind? I hope you enjoyed my little show.”
 

 
One of my favorite fan art pieces i ever got! And it was made by the amazing Puppy! She made my “little lady” look like an exotic queen! But i could not get myself to portrait her like one in this short story i made up. I want the story to be close to her character. So i am happy to see some friends who gets inspired to use her. I hope you people like the poster and this little story. Sorry if there still is some grammar errors and possible lack of context, but i felt it was not much needed to be added, since it is again for a fan art poster.
