Original Description:
Some Apple loving 💕✨
1)A rather new relationship, AJ and Twilight weren’t exactly sure what they were doing. Neither would admit any kind of love for each other at the start, blaming it on drunken one night stands. But the two realised they couldn’t keep off each other. Twilight found AJ to be down to earth and hold a rather beautiful view of the world. AJ found Twilight as eccentric and bright, a mind that could battle her own. The more time they spent together, the more labels they began to plaster onto themselves. While AJ was rather open to her family, Twilight was still heavily closeted and AJ respected this. Everyone has to take their own time, if at all.
Twilight does worry that because of her family issue, that AJ would feel less loved by her and so she does everything in her power to make up for that love.
I also have a tiny headcanon that unicorns, when really deep into a kiss, unintentionally spark their horns. This can be a tad embarrassing but is something lovingly teased about by partners. AJ loves the little light display Twilight makes… every single time.
2)One of the first ships I had for MLP and it’s still going strong. The herd of Cortland Macintosh, or Big Mac as he is more widely known, and Cheerilee. The two always wanted a large family and so they were very much pleased with five foals, each of which they are very proud of and always wish they’d eat more.
Mulberry - The eldest of the herd, Mulberry really falls into their role as the first born. Mulberry is a natural-born leader, starting work on Sweet Apple Acres at a young age. She helps around the farm anywhere she can and helped her mother raise her siblings. Her folks do worry about Mulberry, her almost addiction to work leaving her sleep deprived and exhausted. She has never said it out loud but Mulberry worries that if she chose what she wanted to do, her folks would struggle. She wanted to give her siblings a chance to do what they wanted and if that meant sacrificing her own happiness, so be it. One of the things that she does enjoy however is baking pies, entering into the yearly competitions… after her chores were done, of course.
Honeysuckle and Hollyhock - These two are a package deal through and through. The pair are fraternal twins and have been practically glued to each other’s side since birth. Even as foals, they loved a prank, causing mayhem on the farm. The two are as thick as thieves which is good cause they are. They left the farm when they became adults, looking for fun and mischief. Turns out, they ain’t too bad as con-ponies and certainly are good at pulling off a heist or two. They are banned at several casinos across Equestria, in fact they are banned from most of Las Pegasus. There are warrants out for their arrest but the pair always manage to dodge any of the law. They don’t visit home often for the safety of their family but they are always sure to send a postcard.
Huckleberry Snapper - Huckleberry was a tiny colt when he was born, so tiny the doctors were seriously worried about him with how frail he appeared. They certainly couldn’t have predicted that Huck would grow larger than his own pa. Huckleberry Snapper is a huge hunk of a horse, having to look down even at his own dad. He is rather airheaded, clumsy and doesn’t quite have a filter when speaking to ponies but if you put him on a stage and give him a guitar, he’d melt your heart. Huck’s deep, somewhat raspy, southern voice is like honey to mare’s and stallion’s ears, his words trickling like pure poetry. Like his siblings, Huck left home after signing a record deal and began touring across Equestria. He makes sure to visit home often as he can, always offering to sing at charity events, barn railings, parties or if his momma just wanted to hear her little colt sing.
Pear Marie Butter II - Pear Butter was named after her grandmother and Great grandmother when she was born since she resembled the pair of them. Pear is a mare of few words, much preferring to keep to herself. She is incredibly smart and unbelievably polite. Pear has had many stallions and mares ask her out or try to court her but she is either too scared or it goes over her head. While Pear certainly doesn’t want to make a fuss, she is absolutely enamoured with bees. Her family began to sell the honey that Pear had collected from her many hives, turning up a very hefty profit and deals with Filthy Rich. But Pear doesn’t care about money, instead she just likes to tend to her little bee friends.
3)Of course that leaves Applebloom. Her relationship is a bit more… unorthodox. Applebloom and Diamond Tiara hated each other’s guts back in school. Learning the story of Rarity and AJ, Applebloom thought it’d be a good idea to give Tiara a beat down… this made things both worse and better. The pair would be at each other’s throats but behind closed doors, they would fool around with each other. Eventually the fighting slowed down but the secret meetings only ramped up even after school and well into adulthood.
Then Diamond Tiara had a marriage arranged by her parents. She was, passive aggressively, forced to marry Lumos, son of Sir Fancy Pants and Fleur De Lis. Diamond never loved Lumos. After the wedding, she truly realised how much she loved Applebloom. But the fear her parents put into her, she would certainly be disowned if she tried to divorce Lumos, never mind marrying a mare.
The pair agreed to keep their relationship a secret, meeting up when Lumos was on business trips. Sometimes they’d take out the yacht and just boat while they laugh and drink and enjoy the time with each other. Lumos wouldn’t have to know. No pony would.
4)Diamond Tiara’s husband, Lumos. The son of Sir Fancy Pants and Fleur De Lis, Lumos grew up with a silver spoon wedged in his mouth. He doesn’t quite realise the privilege he had growing up but he is trying to work on that.
He doesn’t know about his wife’s affair… yet.
