This version of Luna and Celestia are from my next-gen world where twilight and their friends make more mistakes and aren’t as powerful as they are in the show.

After they beat Nightmare moon, Luna was never the same. Her genetics were changed from her transformation as well as her attitude towards things. After she changed she resented Celestia for Leaving her on the moon for so long. She believes her punishment was unjust and unlawful. 1,000 years was too long and if Celestia really wanted her back, she could have saved her from it.

As for Celestia, she turns into Day-breaker to attempt to stop Terik and save her subjects. When Day-breaker broke loose from her mind it caused severe burns around her eyes and changed her magic forever. Discord, the only person able to stop Celestia went to any means necessary to do so.
With this, Luna only despised her more, it was hypocrisy is Luna’s eyes. She was blamed for letting loose the reins of her hatred for her sister before, and still people joke and laugh about the person she was and the mistakes she made. All because of her sister.

“Would you mind sending this to my sister please?”
