This’ll probably feel a little out of left field, but I’m making a second Next Gen universe tentatively called Blessverse! My first one dooooesn’t really have a name so we can call it… idk, Normalverse I guess? Anyway, I don’t know how much content I’ll end up making for this one (this is all just for fun and relaxation anyway) but it’s mostly to A) Explore darker storylines and B) to give more attention to the other MLP ships that didn’t get together in the Normalverse.  
 
And starting with the first and only nailed down ship in the cast, Applejack and Twilight! I’ve been very very slowly working my way back through the show while I work and these two very quickly became my favorite mane six pairing. I have not made up my mind on who the other ships in the universe will be, besides probably Rainbow Dash/Thunderlane (and probably another Rarity/Capper pairing, cause I don’t really ship Rarity with anyone else besides AJ who is already taken in this AU lol)  
 
Anyway, on to these two characters bios! A lot of the story is still pretty murky, so some of it will be subject to change in the future. Tentative story setting is that Sombra managed to overpower the Crystal Empire and is waging a fierce war against Equestria. With the power of the crystal heart, he banished Celestia to the sun and Luna to the moon. Twilight and Cadence (who escaped the empire with as many ponies as she could get out; Shining Armor is still held captive by Sombra and his current fate is unknown) have taken charge of Equestria in the sister’s absence. The war has been going on for several years in a bloody stalemate.

Name: Princess Ambrosia Apple aka “The Blessed Princess”  
Nicknames: Amber  
Parents: Princess Twilight Sparkle and Applejack  
Cutie Mark: (currently not designed) Gardening and plant studies  
Age: Teenager  
Pronouns: She/her  
Bio: The older child of Twilight and AJ. Like her cousin Flurry Heart, Amber is a natural born alicorn. She’s rather withdrawn and introverted, preferring a quiet night alone or with one other pony for company. There’s a lot of pressure and hope riding on her shoulders that constantly weigh her down; she and Flurry are seen as the key to winning the war in some way, just because they’re both alicorns. Amber does have very powerful magic, but her talents and interests lie in the much less bloodthirsty direction of caring for plants with her mother Applejack. She’s torn between the quiet life she wants and feeling that she’s expected to lead her people into battle.  
 
Name: Prince Stardust aka “The Unlucky Prince”  
Nickname: Dusty  
Parents: Princess Twilight Sparkle and Applejack  
Cutiemark: Undecided lol  
Age: Teenager  
Pronouns: He/Him  
Bio: Younger then his sister by only a year and half, Stardust is sometimes seen as a disappointment by the kingdom if he is remembered at all. There was a lot of anticipation around his birth and when he was revealed to be an earth pony, many ponies actually felt let down. His mothers absolutely do not share this sentiment, and adore both their children equally (alicorn births are actually very difficult and when they’ve occurred in the past, the baby or the mother usually do not survive; AJ was also a little relieved to have another earth pony in the family). Dusty takes this in stride though, and tends to enjoy his time out of the spotlight. He is hurt by the kingdom’s cruel words to him, but he mostly doesn’t let it bother him. He does his best to support his sister in her anxieties and not place the same expectations on her that everyone else does.  
 
Relationship with each other: The two siblings are very close (especially since their mothers had such close relationships with their siblings, it was very much encouraged) There’s surprisingly little jealousy from Stardust towards Amber and he enjoys helping her garden in what little free time they get. The flowers and plants in his mane come from her personal window box planters. Stardust was very badly injuring protecting Amber from an assassination attempt from Sombra, resulting in the scars on his face and being blinded in one eye.  
 
Relationship with their parents: The family all love each other deeply, but the children are a bit closer to Applejack just by virtue of her being able to spend more time with them. Twilight is constantly busy with the war effort and trying to keep Equestria running, which takes her away from her family often. She tries not to spoil them rotten whenever she does get a chance to see them, but it’s hard not to. Twilight also does end up being a source of stress for Amber, by researching possible ways that she and Flurry could help bring down Sombra. AJ isn’t as convinced by this theory (Amber is so young after all) but she does know that a strong alicorn is a big asset to the fighting.  
 
Relationship with Flurry: Flurry is a few years older then her cousins and is very devoted to the war effort. Her relationship with them is somewhat starined, as she often doesn’t think they’re putting their all into the cause. She pushes Amber very hard and scolds Dusty for not taking more of a part.  
 
That’s all for now! There’ll probably be less pairings in this one then in the Normalverse, but I’ll just draw as I get inspired 👍
