Oh my god. I actually did something like that in middle school.
I was waiting for the doors to the school to open (they kept them closed in winter so kids wouldn’t swarm inside) and reading a book. A Jules Verne book iirc.
Then comes one of the dudes who would occasionally bully me and just grabs my book.
So I fucking punch him in the jaw. He punched back, probably hurting me more than I’d hurt him. But I was still proud of myself.
