I knew as soon as I saw the art style for the official G5 series, that this generation was in trouble.
 
It’s understandable considering Hasbro has been bleeding money before FiM even ended, and what you’re seeing I believe, is the result of that. It’s especially telling that instead of staying on Netflix or going to Discovery like Pony Life, this 70 episode series was shunted on to YouTube.  
Now that’s not to say that it’s incapable of being good, or even great, but being that the whole initial draw of FiM WAS it’s art style, I don’t think it’ll come even close to approaching the success or charm of G4.
 
Also this is my first time drawing Hired Gun. Puppy Smiles aint there for………. obvious reasons.
