WOD/Chaosverse- Shining Armor SOAE  
Last of the main character refs for SOAE and if your wondering where his armor is, I’m still redesigning it and you will get another version with his armor soon  
Shining Armor:  
-Former ruler of the Crystal Empire and former captain of the royal Canterlot guard  
-Doesn’t know Flurry Heart exists  
-Was betrothed to Princess Cadence  
Shining Armor was the firstborn to Twilight Velvet and Night Light. He took many traits after his purebred mother including her white fur, blue eyes, tail, and horn. His grandfather on his mother’s side was captain of the Canterlot royal guard. However he looked at Shining Armor like he destroyed everything he worked for. Twilight Velvet was a very special purebred traditional unicorn. The only one with solid white fur and mane with blue eyes, nearly identical to royal family’s mother, the only difference was she didn’t have wings. Her father had wanted her to study hard with magic and become a princess but that changed when she met the regular unicorn and rooftop-living, Night Light. She chose him over the future her father wanted and joined the Unicorn Council. Shining Armor dreamed from a young age to be captain of the royal guard one day. He worked hard to prove himself and was a natural at shielding magic. It wasn’t until he met Cadence that his life changed. She was as kind as she was beautiful. The two became close friends quickly. After Twilight left for Ponyville his grandfather had an idea. He couldn’t get his pure line back but he could make his line royalty. Shining Armor would be given the title of captain of the royal guard if he married Cadence. Shining Armor quickly told Cadence and the two agreed. While they were betrothed the two still loved and cared very much for each other. It wasn’t until Cadence’s home unexpectedly returned that their lives changed again. Shining Armor became a ruler beside Cadence and captain of the guard in the Crystal Empire.  
Upon hearing the threat of Tirek, Cadence left to go to Canterlot and left the empire in control of Shining Armor. Unknown to Shining and Cadence she was expecting a foal and this would be the last time Shining Armor would see her. He had heard that Discord defeated Tirek before the crystal wall rose. Locking him inside the empire and the rest of his family outside. Mourning the loss of his family he was distracted and didn’t see Sombra and his army until it was too late.
