Before I get onto Chrissy’s bio I will talk a little bit about my changeling redesigns. They don’t turn all rainbow colored when “reformed” instead they have “starved” and “well fed” looks. Chrissy here is well fed. Well fed changelings have more vibrant colors and little to no holes. Royal Changelings have fluffy necks when they are well fed, the fluffier the neck, the better fed they are, especially if they have a long mane. They always feed after the hive so to see a queen extremely well fed is rare. Royal changelings also have six legs, two in front, four in the back. They also have different jaws than other changelings.  
Onto the bio!  
Queen Chrysalis was the last born Royal Changeling before her hive was attacked by dragons. Dragons did not care for each other so the changelings had to way to get power to defeat them. Chrissy’s starving mother hid Chrysalis away while she lured the dragons away. This left Chrysalis to be raised by what was left of her hive. She developed a deep connection to her hive-mates and wanted to take them into a reign in which no one starved again. When she became of age she became queen and developed a plan to feed her starving hive. She learned of the Legend of Amore. A powerful unicorn who had an alicorn daughter who became the princess of love. While out stalking Canterlot for her plan she met another alicorn, Luna. She was disguised as somepony else and Luna unknowingly helped her infiltrate Canterlot. But that doesn’t mean Chrissy didn’t like Luna’s conpany. Luna filled her with a sense of power and Chrissy noticed she was stronger after being with Luna. At some point they started somewhat of a relationship. However Celestia would never approve of Luna cantering around with a commoner. After creating an army she used that power to sneak into Canterlot and take the place of the princess. She hid Cadence in the caverns below Canterlot as that is where her mother hid her so many years prior. Upon taking the place of Cadence she learned something very interesting about her fiancee but she wouldn’t use that until much later. She was defeated by Cadence and Shining Armor. But upon hitting the window one of her back legs was ripped off. It is kept in Canterlot as is seen as a powerful item due to if used in spells or potions can give a pony the ability to shape-shift like a changeling. Not even Discord knows that it’s there.  
When Discord took over Equestria nearly all love that the changelings managed to barely get was gone. Chrysalis took her subjects to the only other place she knew that they could feed, The Crystal Empire. Unfortunately she arrived just as the crystal wall rose and some of her subjects were left on the Equestrian side, one of which being the changeling who mostly raised her. Upon finding herself and her subjects locked in the Empire she also found that she wasn’t the only one who got inside the crystal wall. King Sombra had gotten inside as well. She had heard of the mighty king who defeated Amore, and the first male alicorn known to Equestria or the Crystal Empire. With Chrysalis needing to find a home for her subjects and Sombra wanting an army to take over the empire again, the two struck a deal.
