WOD/Chaosverse- Draconiqui Babies  
Many of you guys were curious how I picked the species for each of Discord’s kiddos. I decided to base the creatures on the emotions of one carrying them. Draconiqui and draconiqui hybrids can have foals with a male or female. However if it is not with another draconiqui then whoever isn’t the draconiqui is the one who gets pregnant. This makes it very difficult for them to have foals with their own kind. While there are draconiqui in other worlds, Discord is currently the only who lives in Equestria after his parents were murdered. Draconiqui have powerful magic but hybrids can inherit all to none of their powers. That isn’t affected by the one carrying it, it’s just random as most things are with draconiqui.  
The more specific the emotion the higher likelihood of a specific species. This was the case with Twilight, she knew she would have a foal with owl traits as she focused her thoughts heavily on knowledge and books. But for Pinkie it was completely unpredictable.  
Depending on the creatures the foals can be carnivores. Reign and Pascal are carnivores as all of their species are predators. (Wish Pie would have also been a predator) Despite Hope being made of many different carnivores he is more hippo in his body and is a herbivore but he does have sharp teeth and isn’t afraid to use them like a carnivore.
