Original Description:
You were walking around the base, idly minding your own business and listening to music in your headphones, silently singing along the lyrics, not paying much attention to what was happening around you or who was around you.
This was your day off, so you really hadn’t much to do, hence you decided to take a walk and probably hang out with other ponies. Maybe you could even tease Luchs for being a smol Tiger and run away before he aimed their 20mm, the thought making you chuckle a little, as you keep on imagining what your options were…
Atleast until you felt something gently poke your flank, someone behind you. You turned around to whoever was calling you, politely taking your headphones off your ears to listen them…
Unexpectedly for you, the pony wasn’t the Chi-Ha tank pony you were expecting, but instead a Valentine… a Valentine Mk.XI, if the gun did tell you something, she looked at you shyly, blushing a little, her eyes reflecting her general bashfulness and cuteness. You smiled softly towards her and said “Oh, hi? Do you need anything?”
She smiled gently, but seemed overall hesitant, the blushing on her cute beige/cream face increasing a bit more, her emerald green eyes looking at anything but you as she seemed so timid that she couldn’t even maintain eye contact.
Then, suddenly, she turned her head around and got hold of something that was inside her saddlebag she was carrying, holding it cutely in her mouth. It was some kind of paper, but you only saw the white part, though you could see the vague silhouette of letters that were on the other side.
Her eyes, that were pointing at the letter, and the fact that she got a bit closer towards you, obviously meant that she wanted you to pick up the note, you gently took it, and almost immediately your hoof pulled the note off her mouth she looked away timidly again, one of her front hooves rubbing the other one in shyness, the turret of her head pointing downwards.
You looked at the paper, then turned it around, the first thing that greeted your eyes were a multitude of hearts in the letter, as you noticed this you remembered that today was 14th February; Hearts and Hooves Day, you couldn’t help but mentally smack your head repeatedly with a figurative hoof for not even noticing what day was today.
Aside from the hearts though, you paid attention to what was written on the paper.
It read “Do you like me?”, and below the sentence were three checkboxes, next to each one of these boxes was written “Yes” “Definitely” “Absolutely!!!”, respectively.
You couldn’t help but let out a little ‘Aww’ at it as you looked back towards the tank pony, who was blushing even deeper but was looking at you right now, looking at you expectantly, waiting and measuring your reaction. You smiled warmly towards her (Gesture which seemed to make her squee a little of happiness), and went back to the note again. Holding the note with a hoof, you went to search a marker on your pocket, atleast before the tank pony in front of you poked you lightly again, now a red marker in her mouth, you took it and at the same time said a polite and gentle “Thank you”, the Valentine blushing deeper, the tip of the ears becoming reddish.
Then, opening the marker, you smiled at her and marked one of the three checkboxes on the list, winking at her, you closed the red marker of love and gave it back to her, along with the now answered note.
She looked at her own note, then her smile widened, her eyes shimmering with glee and happiness, her blush making her look extra cute. She let out a little “Yay!”, and fired her 75mm OQF gun in excitement, the tracer round flying somewhere in the air, lost in the blue sky. You answered the list cleverly, or so you thought; all of the three checkboxes, and with hearts, you definitely were a hopeless romantic, but your thoughts of how you were a Casanova were interrupted when suddenly a heavy and fast tank pony hugged you tightly, squeezing you, the 75mm barrel some inches next to your face. The unexpected hug shocked you a bit, but you simply smiled and hugged her back, to which she purred contently, her fluff brushing you gently.
