Urtica thought she had a solid grasp on her projected laying date based on pregnancies before Thorax took over. Turns out with the mass metamorphisis other things also changed, like for example how long it took for eggs to fully develop. What she thought was going to be a last trip to a bookstore to pick up some pony-written foaling books (close enough right?) turned into her going into labor in the back reading area of the store, egg fluid already gushing out and the first egg minutes, or even less away from being laid. Now speed reading the book in a panic to try and prepare herself for the sudden flood of eggs about to hit. Pity to the bookstore workpony that investigates the gasps and worried noises.
