And so the “Calamitous card game”-arc is finally over, and we find out why it truly was “calamitous” in the end.  
The game itself, as it turns out, was never what this was truly about. It was a front, for Sagacious to secretly access Sunset’s thoughts and memories. The proverbial cat is now out of the proverbial bag.  
 
This is actually the biggest change in status quo since the “Meet the Princesses”-arc, as now Crydius and Tempest now everything Sunset and co do. The playing field is finally equal. And this means a lot of sensitive information is in dangerous hands now…
