As I’ve said, that’s from Speak; pretty sure it’s only obliquely mentioned in PH itself (same-ish age as P-21, because she raped him at her cuteceanera=puberty, and he was P-1 at the time, i.e. also fresh out of puberty; this along with the time of puberty being stated as “12 or 15 years, don’t remember” means they can be at most 3 years apart. Meanwhile Speak explicitly retcons it to be 22 years old - and because it happens exactly four years after PH, it means she’s 18 during it. Which, as I’ve just described, is not compatible with the timeline.
Wasn’t there something about BJ’s age also being retconned in some way?
Now I’m worried there are things about myself I don’t know…
He retconned one scene (that has less reason to be in the fic than the deleted encounter with Amadi after Happyhorn) from 12 to 15 years old, which, compared to the 200+ year old Bastard, is still pedo. Also, the officially endorsed “barely legal in PH” retcon in Speak.
The point is that excessively obsessed people cannot stop putting the thing they’re obsessed with everywhere; the original “magical realm” is about watersports (see
PisstowerClocktower Society for a pony example), but it’s also very common for pedophiles to be constantly talking about children (which is a red flag; not enough by itself, but in conjunction…).Not sure what you mean by that. Didn’t he retcon it specifically because he was being called a pedofag?
The timeline can easily line up if the dot is equivalent to one full year or so, so BJ rapes P-1 at 12/15 (cuteceanera) and they leave the vault at ~32/35 while Scotch got conceived when P was like 16/19. But OVERWHELMING PEDOPHILIC MAGICAL REALM prevents Somber et al from doing that.
Mortality IRL is ~58 million/year, with population being 8 billion, which makes for 0.725% deaths/year average, which means for a Vault of around 600 members (counting the young), around 4.35 would die yearly. It’s not THAT different from the show’s gender ratio to allow for one stallion/year.
tbf it’s been said that colts are killed so that stallions get to live longer, but that would still need to be a huge stretch.
God I love PH to bits but jfc does it have many flaws. Its plot being one of the biggest offenders.
You don’t even need the retcon, PH conflicts with itself. P-16 says it’s only a year tops before he’s 21-ed and retired, which would mean stable goes through ~4 stallions per year, which means he would be 19 MAX by PH (colts become breeders at 12 or 15, and are kinda physically incapable of conception before puberty), still making Scotch Tape impossible.

Don’t forget “active time traveller”, since time travel is the only way to explain how she is 22 in Speak (consequently 18 in PH itself) while being same age as P-21, who has 12/15 year old daughter.
