being nice is part of my character, even to those people who frankly dont deserve it. i dont know if you gain this environmental trait or not but i just so happen to be raised around empathetic people and those people who could use some empathy.

no, i do not think it makes me a better person i do not say these things to get sympathy points. i do it because i seen way too many people who hide behind the face of hatred and behind that face is more often then not a broken person who is mad at the world for not being fair to him, i do not claim that is that case of grapefruit but you would be amazed how a little empathy can restore a person ability to love again.
idea of magic of friendship brings us together but how can you call yourself a member of the community if you do not carry the word of twilight (that sounded almost biblical lmao)

Friendship is not magic! You think it is because it makes you a better person and gives meaning to your life, but that’s some bushly feel good bullshit. Friendship is (in Equestria and the internet) a tangible form of energy that, through the proper conduit, generates limitless power.

And it’s users, like you, who make this place so nice and restore faith in the fandom. You call for compassion, empathy and kindness to those who show us none, unlike literal derpibooru staff members who call for the death of people, who simply use 4chan.
We’re supposedly a safe haven for hatred, but we are civil and tolerant. Derpibooru, on the other hand, acts as if their site were a city on a hill, while they harbor and platform some of the most vile and repulsive human beings within the fandom.

Acres forgot a tag, an honest mistake.
Grapefruit took it as a personal attack.
Grapefruit tried to attack Acres personally.
Acres didn’t care.
Grapefruit got even more upset.
So, Acres was walking down the sidewalk and a dog started barking, but Acres just kept on walking. Upon seeing this, the dog became enraged, had an aneurysm, somehow caught rabies and nearly choked to death on a lawn gnome. However, Acres never saw any of that, because at that point he was already a block and a half away, just walking down the sidewalk.

Agreed. “Toxic” means “extremely poisonous” or something like that. Disregard anyone who uses it otherwise like you’d disregard people who say “litterally” when they mean “figuratively”, or “of” instead of “have”.
Grapefruit is just mad because his Acres post ended up turning into a Ponybooru comment party, with Acres even requesting it be made the most commented image on the site, which did happen.
It’s like Pinkie Pie taught us all, when you laugh in their faces, you take their power away.
Imagine taking the time to screenshot the tags, DNP, Acres’ original comment, then write up an entire post and including hyperlinks to the source material…
I mean, okay, it probably didn’t take that long, but that’s just time Grapefruit could have spent shipping himself with his pony of choice.
Plus, Grapefruit insulted Acres on Nov. 15th or 16th and seeing as the DeviantArt post was made on the 26, that’s about ten days of seething and coping with a bit of screeching tossed in for good measure, I’m sure.

Not when used by people like this it doesn’t. I am long past the point of giving them any benefit of the doubt, if only because I hate being wrong about judgement calls.
So yes, toxic in OP’s post = Not utterly subservient to my fragile, childlike ego.
