“Oh my godness! Do you feel the sun? It’s beautiful out here! I could just fly forever!” Starjax’s younger sister exclaimed as she did summersaults through the air.
 
“Yeah, I guess so,” he replied, looking up at her. “You GUESS? Wow, Jax, you need to lighten up! Get loose! I wish you had wings, then we could fly all day together!”
 
Starjax never wanted wings. He was afraid of heights, but his sister insisted working on a spell to give him wings for a day, like their mom did with Ms. Rarity. Summer loved that story. She loved everything.
 
She won’t love me if I do this, he thought to himself. A eerie feeling on his back made the hairs on his neck stand up. A prickly ghastly feeling.
 
No one will, a dark shadow whispered. They’ll fear you. But that’s what we want, right?
 
“Yes, Sombra.” Starjax said. She’ll always outshine you. No one gives you the right amount of praise as she gets. Soon we’ll make them pay. Soon, my prince.
 
“Right. Yes, Sombra.” Starjax told him, with a fake grin.
 
He’s right. I have to do this. I have to make the ponies see me for once. Sombra’s the only one who sees me. I just need to trust him.
