Original Description:
Thoughts and notes, whether sketch or final vector;
1) Maybe should have used a width of 3,5 or 4 pixels for the outlines rather than 3. For the record, the ‘show accurate’ width I used before would have been 6 pixels here.
2) Smile looked good on paper (literally) but needed to be much smaller on the vector.
3) Messed up the shoulders and armpits.
4) Probably messed up the waist’s rotation from three quarter view hips to front view torso, too. Or at least the abs.
5) For the first time, the legs are too short. Waist–ankle length is supposed to be twice that of neck– crotch, here it falls short even if I include the shoes. Possibly something to do with working with limited room (paper sheet), I always have an issue with that.
6) Bustier than planned.
7) I actually got the feet’s size right, for once.
8) Because of all the flaws, this was really not worth all the time and effort put into vectoring it. Also why I decided against trying my hand at shading and highlights like I’d planned, I was sick of working on this.
