Flutter-family, Halloween costumes (Undertale)
 
alternative title: Father - Son relationship.
 
the full and finalized piece of this old sketch that i made years ago, when Undertale was new.
 
I Idea I had way back undertale was new. Someting I planned to release for that years haloween, but never got around to. So it got to stay in my arcive untill this year, when i finally decided to redraw it and post the darn thing.
 
I though Father Discord and his son Illusive was most fitting as Papyrus and Sans. As i found it matched their personalities, and also the family dynamic. as Discord is much more carefree and outgoing with his Chaos, (though - true to chaos- things rarely end up working as intended.) Whilst his son Illusive is much more laid back, reserved and rarely unleaches his powers (but when he does - you’re gonna have a bad time.)
 
Mother Fluttershy is unshure about her costume (I was eaqually unshure on weirther is hould give her the color of Frisk or Chara. - I though Fluttershy looks better in the Green and Yellow Shirt of Chara - and it would seperate her a little more, color dynamic, from her son, but i though dressing her up as Chara might carry the wrong implications - so I went with the safer option.)
 
Used a simple edditing software to make a simple background that was suposed to imitate the effect of ‘the barrier’ from the end of undertale.
 
Was having some trouble coming up with a title: Things like “Flutter-tale” and “Under-Shy” passed through my mind and was rejected.
