Digging through my WIPs, I found this recent one I’d started and almost finished drawing back in early august. It was a bit special, because I’d planned to finish it and then post it when my area celebrated pride (which had been moved forward from June to early autumn due to you-know-what). See, in my actual pride month piece I chose to draw the “most canon” gay couples in mlp. I.e. couples actually shown in very clearly romantic relationships in the show, not just hinted at. Though, where that lines goes it a bit arbitrary, so feel free to disagree on my picks =P
 
Anyway, afterwards I happened to stumble across a certain porcelain figure which some of you may or may not know about. It’s shown on this wiki page, in the image titled “Wedding Prance”. Do you see what I didn’t at first? I didn’t think much about it, until I saw someone talking about it on a blog -and, yeah, that’s G1 Moondancer and Glory there getting married! Not sure if it was intended to depict the wedding of two mares –my bet is that that the creators of the figure didn’t know ponies too well and just picked two white unicorns at random- but I still love that it exists :D
 
So guess what, it’s now canon to my nextgen ‘verse :3
 
Notes  
Dot Bullet (Dark Purple) - F2U! Rarity was partially based on Glory, along with Sparkler –so I decided that this version of Glory is her cousin. That’s how Glory and Moondancer met in my nextgen ‘verse; they both attended Twilight and Rarity’s wedding :)  
Dot Bullet (Dark Pink) - F2U! Glory is not a lot like Rarity personality-wise though, being focused on academia and studying magic. She and Moondancer gets on like a house on fire, locking themselves in the library together for days on end.  
Dot Bullet (Light Blue) - F2U! Their areas of study vary slightly though; Moondancer focuses a lot on developing new spells and both mundane and magical technology. Whereas Glory studies the past and recreates old spells from legends and history, as well as restores and studies old magical artifacts.  
Dot Bullet (Pale Purple) - F2U! This isn’t their normal manestyles, I just based them on the figurine. For the sake on in-universe explanation, let’s say that Rarity wouldn’t let her cousin and her cousin’s new wife get married without giving them makeovers first =P  
Dot Bullet (Dark Purple) - F2U! Glory’s cutie mark sparkles because I like it. Rarity’s does now too. And also Pinkie’s, sometimes. Everyone I want gets sparkles. You can’t stop me.
