As it happens, I am still on a short break from Warframe stuff! I was just having a lot of fun with this one. See… I’ve always been an artist that’s loved pony since 2013, but I’ve never been a pony artist. It was always secondary to all the guns I draw. Now, I’ve felt like i did a good job drawing pony, especially the one right after bronycon, but I’ve lately felt like my artstyle is a bit too… rigid. What I love about the aesthetic of MLP is that it’s so cute and soft, while I… am not entirely suited to that.  
 
I felt like some of my other drawings were relying a little too heavily on the stroke tool, so I tried to make something without it… then failed, then realized that this heavy outline makes her look kinda comic book-ish so then I was all like “AWRIGHT.”
