Alright, so the M6, Starlight, the CMC, Smolder, and Gabby have been receiving love letters and small gifts for the past 3 months and they finally decide to catch this mysterious admirer. They do eventually reveal him after he unintentionally wakes up Twilight one night when he tips over a coat rack while placing a letter on Twilight’s dresser. She gives chace and the other element and Starlight, who were woken up by the commotion join in. The admirer trips on an uneven rug and tumbles down a flight of stairs. They realize when they turn on the lights that it is indeed Spike. He is transported to the hospital where he is revealed to have a broken leg and a sprained wing. When he’s at the hospital, all 12 girls pay Spike a visit, he tells each girl why he loves them.It’s mainly about how they were there for him after the whole Sludge fiasco. He also now learns that Smolder, the CMC, and Gabby had also fallen in love with him. Smolder, after he chose to tough it out with Garble to cheer him up just to make her happy, the CMC for him just sticking by them and helping them out of a jam, and Gabby for him helping her out of a slump after a bad breakup (non-canon). As he says his reasons, the M6 ad Starlight recall times when, Spike’s been there for them and eventually find themselves harboring the same feelings for him. To make a long story short, Spike starts a harem with all 12 of them. It also turns out that Spike is revealed to be a breed of Dragons that can be in a relationship with 15 lovers at once. Having a harem would also stop him from going into a greed-induced growth spurt.

Oh, okay. I understand where you come from on Spike and his relationship to the M6. Since you probably won’t read the story, would you like me to just tell you what it’s about?

I’m not really into fan fiction though. Especially when they involve real people because they basically tell lies about other people or even true stuff that could be really personal.
 
Also on a side note. I also like to see the Mane 6 as big sisters to Spike as well. ESPECIALLY Applejack and Rainbow Dash. There’s also so much about Spike we still don’t even know about that I think is VERY deserving to give Spike his own spinoff show where it explains EVERYTHING about his life. The episodes “Just For Sidekicks” and “Games For Ponies” are very good examples of this.
 
They’re both separate episodes. Yet they both take place during the same episode. Like “Just For Sidekicks” is probably the most we’ve ever seen Spike and the CMC interact with each other. And they even act like they’ve hung out as actual friends before sometimes.
 
There’s even a scene where Scootaloo mentions an off-screen conversation she had with Spike about ziplining.

Oh, okay. That’s what I think of them as and I thought I found someone else who thought of Spike and the M6 as lovers like I did. There’s actually a story I read that involved Spike starting a harem on FimFiction. Would you like the link?

No, that would be weird. But I do like to think of Spike and the rest of the Mane 7 as just one big family. In real life it’s very common for a group of friends to become more of like a family than just friends.

I guess Spike is their boyfriend they share in your universe? 🤔
