The Cutie Mark Crusaders get arrested for being too adorable.
 
With the rising number of cuteness overload cases across Equestria, Celestia issued a decree that placed a limit on how cute ponies can be. Anypony who exceeds this limit and proves to be a risk of causing a cuteness overload to another pony is to be arrested and imprisoned. They are then required to remain incarcerated until they are no longer deemed “too cute”. If necessary, ponies can be imprisoned for life.
