Tempest had never really taken an interest in other ponies before. She always thought that love was so overrated and not worth her time, but for some reason every time she ran into Luna her heart melted like butter. She would become so weak around her. I like to think that Tempest would not marry because she just never had an interest in anyone except for luna.
 
 
Tempest eagerly trotted down the hall with a bouquet of roses in her mouth.
 
 
“wow?” Luna said “Are those bouquets of roses for me?” Tempest face went bright red as she stumbled back with embarrassment.
 
“Why yes my majesty.” Luna chuckled. “Why thank you.”
 
They stood for a moment embarrassed. Tempest slowly walked to the luna. “Would you like to…”
 
“Moma?” blood moon said sleepily. Tempest ears perked up in shock. Luna awkwardly smiled.
 
“Hey buddy. Why are you up?” Luan’s ear perked up.
 
“Couldn’t sleep.” he let out an exhausted yawn as he slowly rubbed his eyes.
 
Tempest gave Blood Moon a stern stare. “You need to go back to bed..” her ears were slowing being to lay flat against her head.
 
Luna briskly interrupted. She leaned down to Moon and placed her wing on him, pulling him close.
 
 
“How about the three of us go and look at the stars?” luna said, giving tempest a happy smile. Blood Moon’s ears perked up as he slowly smiled. “Really?”
 
 
“Only if it’s okay with your mom.” luna grinned, returning back to Tempest’s level. Tempest let out a deep sigh and rolled her eyes. “Fine but you have to promise you won’t keep me up all night.” Blood moon smiled and nodded, darting off to the balcony.
 
 
Luna chuckled. “man, you did get lucky, huh?”
 
“Lucky. Yeah.” Tempest looked at the floor as they slowly walked. “It’s just so hard raising blood moon and being in charge of the royal guard.Sometimes i do wonder, why did i get blessed with such a good kid? I’m just so busy, sometimes I don’t have time for him. ” Luna gave tempest a sympathetic smiled. “Don’t worry..” She wrapped her wing over the tempest, pulling her in for a hug. giving her a small kiss on her forehead.
 
“You don’t have to do this alone anymore.”

So yeah. Tempest and luna in the beginning. Their appreciation for each other was turning into love.
