Description
Going back to do some backstory art for my bat pony OCs. And it’s for Fox.
I talked about in an old drawing how Fox was raised by his grandpa. His parents passed away in an accident, when he was really young kid (currently, there are no plans on the story of what happened, and I don’t think there will be).
His mom, Loire Rose, daughter of the owner of a famous winery, technically a noble lady and his father, an everyday pony, son of the owner of a small bakery.
He still remembers them, but rather faintly.
About their name(s) and designs:
- Loire was named similarly like Fox and her. Fox’s real name is Jack Rose, which is a type of cocktail. Both Loire’s and her father, Rhone Rose’s name based on wines.
- I’m still thinking about Fox’s father’s name, thought I’m thinking it’s going to be bakery related.
- Just like Fox and Rhone, Loire’s design based on a type of flying fox. For her it’s the little golden-mantled flying fox.
- Fox’s father’s design isn’t based on anything specific. It’s similar of a simple horse coat pattern.
