started this yesterday and finished it today! I haven’t worked so hard on a long canvas with mini drawings like this before, so i hope it was worth it!
Just going to be exploring Princess Luna’s love towards other creatures! Before I jump into art, I want to write a tad bit on Luna’s character in my verse…
Like all Alicorns, Luna is genderless, but prefers to look more feminine and use she/her pronouns. She is omnisexual, meaning she is attracted to all genders, but the gender is a factor in the relationship. To simple it up, she’s bi and usually attracted to women.
- When the Changelings transformed into the giving creatures they are, the Changelings threw a celebration party for their transformation. They invited the ponies, including the royals. The two species partied for the whole day. As the night sky covered the sun, the ponies started to go home. Luna stayed behind, to help clean up and since she had her nightly duties to attend anyways. Pharynx, brother to the leader of the Chagelings, spotted her, in awe. Luna knew he was drunk, since she watched him chug down bottles of brews the Changelings made. Pharynx walked over to Luna, and leaned in for a kiss, without even saying anything. Luna didn’t back away, for she was too confused and flustered by her emotions. The two made love the rest of the night, forgetting the mess of the party the had to clean.
2-3) It was only a week later Luna took the pregnancy test, and realized she was pregnant with twins. She scolded herself for letting Pharynx be like that. She was a princess; royalty. She needed to stand her ground sometime. She knew he didn’t assault her, since she did have feelings back for him. But she never thought it would result in children. Luna didn’t think about it anymore; she put the whole night behind her, and decided to raise her children alone.
She named then Constellation Gem and Meteor Shower. Constellation, is the older sister by two minutes. Meteor was the little brother, and the grumpiest little pony Luna had met. Their aunt, Celestia had offered to take care of them, but Luna was sure she could handle two foals, and her night shift.
- Luna had an eye for Tempest Shadow, the red unicorn in charge of the Celestia’s royal guard, and once their enemy. She looked rather endearing in her armor. She always trotted by, and Luna carried her foals.
“Oops, my deepest apologies, you highness”, Tempest said, purposely bumping into the night princess. “No worries, Shadow.” Luna snickered, blushing.
- Luna and Tempest finally got together. They dated for at least two years, until they decided to marry. Shortly after, with the help of Alicorn magic of course, Tempest became pregnant with Luna’s second daughter, Moonstone Apogee.
- Constellation adores Moonstone! She was very pleased to hear she was getting a sister. Meteor on the other hoof..
Well that was fun to write! Hope i didn’t misspell anything lol
One more thing to add! Luna and Pharynx both loved each other for a while! Their relationship started to crumble when Luna had the twins, and soon they broke up. Just wanted to say that so it’s not so confusing.
