Nova Stella, an only child, had lived in the city her whole life. Well, up until her family decided to move to the coast! Nova agreed only because it was for her mother’s health, but it was quite the shift. Nature eluded her, and she didn’t see the point in being outside except when watching the night sky. One day while walking around the valley (only because her dad sent her on an errand) she met a very sweet, friendly earth pony named Ginger. Ginger, having never seen her before, tried to greet her, but Nova had no interest in making friends. She hesitated, awkwardly excused herself, and continued walking along. Ginger Bread was a little confused, but that didn’t stop her from trying to be the neighborly earth pony down the way in case she ever needed anything. And as it turns out, Nova would need that help surprisingly soon…
