Diamond Tiara Headcanon DUMPPPPP :

Diamond Tiara’s parents, Filthy and Spoiled Rich, have had Diamonds entire life planned out for her since before she could walk, what school she would attend, what extracurricular activities she would do, where she would go to college, and even what she would major in, she was entered into dozens of dance competitions (think - dance moms) she was put into the spotlight at a very young age, and was only allowed time off to do her studies. as a child Diamond Taria grew up very, very miserable, everything she did was dictated by her mother and she couldn’t make any decisions on her own without her parents having a say in it. After she was of age and graduated from University majoring in Business

she was set to take over either her Mothers wedding planning business or her Fathers multi-million dollar retail business “Rich’s Barnyard Bargains”, whichever one she was going to take over all depended on whatever Diamonds special talent would be, Spoiled Rich made sure to emphasize to Diamond how important it was that she earned her cutie mark at an early age and that it either had something to do with business or wedding planning. Luckily for Diamond Tiara, her special talent is jewelry making, excellent! From that day forward Diamond Tiara was fully taken under the wing of her mother and was trained in the ways of jewelry making, wedding planning, and high society living in general, and as much as Diamond Tiara hated it, she was danm good at it. Spoiled Rich could immediately tell that her daughter would make an excellent heir and businesswoman!

shortly after Becoming friends with the cutie mark crusaders, and realizing how much freedom their parents gave them, she started to rebel against her parent’s wishes, she began staying out later, skipping school (her grades were already outstanding without her putting any effort into it so she could mostly get away with this), and sneaking out. This all came to a head when her mother decided enough was enough and informed Diamond Tiara they were moving, and she would be sent to an all-girls boarding school. She barely had time to pack her bags and tell her friends goodbye before she was leaving Ponyvill and moving to Canterlot.

After graduating high school, going to University, and studying business, Her mother offers her a high position in her Wedding Planning Company, which Diamond immediately declines (cue mother knows best reprise ) which leads to them having an awful fight ( “Can’t you see im only trying to do what’s best for you?!” “YOU don’t actually care if im happy! you only care about how I make YOU look! “ )

which leads to Diamond Tiara contacting her old friends and moving back to Ponyvill. Once Apple Bloom hears the news she is ecstatic! her and the rest of the CMC ( + Sliver Spoon, Babs Sead, Spike, ect. ) wait for her arrival at the train station, and when she finally arrives? Everyone goes to greet her but Apple Bloom just stands there like a star stuck dork thinking “OH NO SHE’S HOT”

Eventually, Diamond Tiara and Apple Bloom start dating and got married a few years later. Filthy Rich happily walked his daughter down the aisle, Spoiled Rich didn’t show up. Apple Bloom’s special talent is teaching children, specifically helping them figure out their special talent, as an adult she creates a Cutie Mark Summer Camp, designed to teach foals and fillies friendship, life skills, and help them earn their cutie marks. Diamond Tiara on the other hand spends a lot of time soul searching and trying to find out who she really is, after years and years of being under her controlling mothers Thunb she’s finally free, and she has
no clue what do to with this newfound freedom. eventually, she starts her own business selling her own hand-crafted jewelry.

( I imagine Filthy Rich is the kind of Parent who, whenever Diamond Tiara asked him something or complained about something he just responded with “Ask Your mother, dear. “ Or, “Do as your mother says, dearest.” but at the end of the day he loves his daughter and respected her decision to not take over the family business. )

Sid eventually grows up to be HUGE, like, Big Mac huge, I figure his special talent is singing and he grows up to be a super famous county singer ha. I can see him having at least one or two younger siblings buttttt I havent been able to come up with any decent designs for them just yet.. he’d definitely be super protective over his hypothetical Lil sibs and if you even think about looking at them the wrong way he’ll crush you.

• Filthy really only ever wanted the best for Diamond Tiara, but didn’t have a clue about raising children, which is why he let Spoiled get away with everything she did, he honestly thought they were doing what was best for Diamond Tiara and only realized how terribly they messed up after Diamond and Spoiled had their massive fight. later he contacts her and apologies, telling her that he understands if she doesn’t want him, or her mother, in her life anymore, after a lot of thinking, she eventually forgives him and they still have a good relationship, he visits his grandson regularly, sometimes even accompanied by Spoiled Rich, much to Diamonds Tiara’s disdain…

• Spoiled Rich is Cookie Crumble’s sister, which makes Sweetie Belle and Rarity Diamond Tiara cousins. Spoiled Rich is INCREDIBLY jealous of Cookie Crumble’s “picture-perfect family” how did she manage to raise her daughters to be so perfect? her firstborn, Rarity, ran a multi-million dollar fashion company with boutiques opening worldwide and Sweetie Belle grew up to be a world-famous pop star? impossible! the second she married Filthy Rich she cut all contact with her older sister and never looked back. Diamond Tiara and Sweetie Belle only found out they were related years later.

• Diamond Tiara still enjoys dancing and continues to take private lessons to this day! under the same instructor, Hoofer Steps.
