Original Description:
“I can’t believe we’re going to be mothers,” Trixie said, looking at Starlight.
It was true, Starlight was pregnant with her first child. Of course, it took a little magic to get her like this. She never expected to have a child, especially with her best friend. But, life plays out how it is, and the two were meant for each other.
“Only one more month, dear.” Starlight said, happily. “Then you can carry the next one.” She joked. The two had made an agreement that they would have four children. Two of which Starlight would have, and Trixie would birth the rest. She chuckled. “Oh, we’ll see.”
Trixie raised her hoof to Starlight’s check, and leaned in for a kiss. They enjoyed the rest of the night, watching their favorite shows, eating ice cream, and telling each other the funniest high school stories. Starlight could imagine what the family would be like. They would have fun every day, and she’d watch her kids grow up into the amazing mares or stallions they would be. It hadn’t accrued to her about telling them her past. It didn’t matter anymore, that’s for sure, but… what it they found out? The bad way?
Knock knock.
The knock on the door made Starlight forget about her thoughts. Trixie groaned. “Who could that be? It’s so late.” She trotted to the door, and opened it with her magic. On the porch stood a light green mare with a reddish orange mane. She had a ladybug for her cutie mark, but that wasn’t the only strange thing about her. Her eyes was an eerie green, a color Trixie had never seen before.
“Can I help you?” She asked, slowly. “Is Starlight here?” The mare asked. Trixie hesitated. This mare seemed really strange, and she didn’t want to deal with that at the moment. “Who are you?” Trixie asked. “That doesn’t matter. I just need to talk to Starlight Glimmer.” she replied. A cold silence started among them, as they stared into each other’s eyes.
“I’m going to ask you one more time. Who are you?” Trixie asked, sternly. “Open the door, and let me talk to Starlight Glimmer. Now.” the mare told her.
Trixie let a puff of air from her nostrills, and kept her firm grip on the door. The mare growled, then Trixie saw a glint of green light shine form her pupils. Before she could do anything, the pony lunged at her, and grabbed her neck with her magic, then threw her aside. Trixie landed against the wall hard. She opened her eyes to see the mare dash inside.
“Starlight! Run!” She called to her wife, who was in the living room. Trixie heard a crash, then a glass breaking, and then a scream.
She darted up, baring the pain in her joints, and ran to the living room, to find Starlight being held with eerie green magic by the dreaded Queen Chrysalis.
“Chrysalis!” Trixie yelled in shock. The changeling smiled at her, baring her teeth. Trixie noticed she had the pears of a reformed changeling on her chest, and the holes in her legs, and wings were sealed. “What happened to you?” Trixie asked.
“I’ve been trapped in that stone prison for two years. Until someone broke me free. They were stupid enough to try and reform me,” The ex-queen stated. “But I’m back— for my revenge on Starlight Glimmer.”
“No! I won’t let you hurt her!” Trixie’s horn lit up, and she sent a magical laser towards her. Chrysalis blocked it, smiling.
“Oh, I’m not going to.” she said. Trixie held her fire. “You’re not?” She asked.
Chrysalis let out a devious laugh. “I’m been watching you. I hear you’re welcoming a foal into your family soon,” Trixie’s eyes widened. She looked at her wife, who was yelling, but her voice was blocked by Chrysalis’ magic. “I’m going to have some fun her.” Her voice raised, then she used her magic to pin Trixie on the ground. The queen closed her eyes, then waves of green magic formed around her.
“No!” Trixie said, struggling to break free of the magic.
The queens spell shot directly at Starlight, and seeped in through her mouth. Trixie wife’s eyes turned the same eerie green color, and Chrysalis set her down. Trixie teleported herself to them, and stood in front of Starlight, who was shaking from the magic. The queen smiled. “What did you do?!” Trixie yelled. “That foal of yours. She’s in for a surprise.”
“Leave us alone, Chrysalis! Never set foot near her again, or I’ll destroy you.”
The queen smiled.
”Gladly,” she said, then teleported herself away. Trixie saw her silhouette fly away, into the night.
Trixie turned, and hugged Starlight, crying into her mane. “Are your hurt?” She asked. “No,” Starlight told her, tears running from her eyes.
“But our daughter is. We need to save her.”
