Rainbow Dash
- very proud mother of 4 pegasus children
- intensely in love with her wife
- Captain of the Wonderbolts
- avid fantasy reader, but she’ll deny that
- kind of a shorty
- sometimes an impulsive mess
- big heart though, values loyalty
Clear Sky - another proud mother of 4 pegasus children
- deeply in love with her wife but she’s less dramatic about it
- loves a good red wine
- empath, extremely in tune with the emotions of others
- veryyyyy observant literally nothing slips past her
- prettiest unicorn alive (according to Dash)
- studied journalism but is the active manager of the Wonderbolts
Wind Sprint - famous streamer, goes by the screen name SniperKing40
- even bigger RBF than Greywind’s
- takes credit for setting up Dash and Sky (they reconnected because of Wind’s interest in Wonderbolt training)
- huge mood swings and very opinionated
- does not care for a moment what you think of her
- also kind of brash and rude, but she’s working on it
- talented flier, member of the Wonderbolts B Team
- although she loves flying, she pursues her love of gameplay (and she’s successful in that career path)
Thunderbird - hot mess
- arrogant and a little too overly confident
- also a member of the Wonderbolts B Team, he and Wind Sprint work together sometimes
- claims to be the superior twin but he would die for Greywind
- secretly loves to visit Aunt Fluttershy and care for the animals at her shelter
- poofs his hair all by himself, every morning
- huge showoff
- despite his personality he’s actually very physically gentle, especially around his family and Fluttershy’s animals
- followed Dash’s legacy and became the champion flier in the family
- a poser
Greywind - the chill twin
- legally blind
- still lives at home with Dash and Sky, and they don’t know what they’d do without her
- really good listener
- the only kid who inherited Dash’s signature rainbow mane
- always slouching, but she’s actually taller than Thunderbird
- partakes in lots of community service
- works part-time at The Cakes’ bakery
- very popular around town because of how genuinely sweet she is
Astra - the runt of the family
- just wait till she hits her growth spurt though, she’ll be the tallest in the family eventually
- nicknamed Azzy
- has monochromia just like her older twin siblings
- inherits Rainbow Dash’s elbow tufts
- veryyyyy spoiled but she’s humble about it
- probably the youngest Equestrian citizen to get a tattoo
- looks up to big bro Thunderbird
extras
- as a family, they’re super functional and really healthy. they all rely on each other in a way that’s not too clingy, but not too distant either.
- all of the kids end up leaving the house to pursue their dreams, other than Greywind, who desires nothing more than to be with her family.
- Clear and Rainbow Dash wouldn’t be able to part with Greywind anyway, since they’re so used to having her around.
- Clear and Dash both happen to have fangs, so the entire family inherited these very pronounced fangs
- Astra has the biggest fangs relative to her skull size. she’ll be reallllll big one day and no one’s ready for it
- Wind Sprint was much closer to her father than she was Clear Sky, but over years of reconnection, she develops a better relationship with her mom. and ultimately, once Dash comes into the picture, she allows herself to accept Rainbow as family.
- Wind doesn’t even consider her siblings “half” siblings, they’re just blood to her, and she loves them all dearly
- it’s just chance that none of Clear Sky’s children ended up being unicorns. she’s half pegasus herself, which may have changed the probability
- Clear does get kinda tired of finding her wife’s and children’s feathers all over the place tho
- Thunderbird used to be pretty insecure about his duller coloration in such a colorful family (also, dull coloration isn’t considered attractive among pegasi), but eventually he comes to realize it kinda makes him unique.
