Celestia in the original isn’t a horse, she’s a shoebill. Likewise here she isn’t a horse, she’s a pony, and those noticeably borrow from cats.  
Also this is the same pose, just with hindlegs facing the viewer instead of away (and less of the shoebill-tier overbend), and hence exposing the harder-to-draw knee area (which looks like there’s no knee on edit, and kinda sharp edge).  
Also (IRL horsebits warning) horses are not in fact aware (philomena is being stupid and excludes the = at the end) https://media.istockphoto.com/photos/brown-horse-lying-on-the-autumn-nature-picture-id454963601?k=6&m=454963601&s=612x612&w=0&h=cE1RXDXSw5c8UbdAQDuC0R-nyBiei24iQ8SpX9y3tTU= that they cannot bend their backs like that.

The thing is, celestia’s spine is broken in the original, horses cannot bend their backs like that.

Editing level: redraw (as usual). Though the butt pose is better on the original :V
