NG-Sombra
Sombra spent his time as a young colt feeling like he didn’t fit in, and the staff and other young foals seemed to shun him for his eccentricities. He spent a lot of the time alone until a kind young filly who also experienced the same disinterest from others befriended him. The two bonded immensely and when they one day slipped away from the orphanage and into the Crystal Faire everything changed. After coming upon the Crystal Heart and learning of their destined paths, Sombra hid himself away from his friend as she left to fulfill her destiny to become a princess and Sombra began upon a dark path he never wanted to see.

After destroying Duchess Amore, he hid the Crystal Empire until he could return to claim it. When he returned and tried to retake the Crystal Empire, that which ultimately failed, and was then revived again by a face he long though lost Sombra was determined he would make the world a better place for not only his people but for her. When the moment came to unleash his people upon the world, he hesitated. Radiant wouldn't want this and if she could change her destiny, he would change his; but in betraying his mother she attempted to take him down with her. Radiant gave her life to save him, and while she couldn't be saved Sombra promised to live his life for her. He helped restore the damage done to the Empire and in his rehabilitation he fell in love with Luna. 


The two worked closely together and shared feelings of isolation as children and with both of them working towards a better image and better world they found that they enjoyed each other's company. Love blossomed from there and the two married with the mission to bring light to those who were forced into the darkness. Sombra, Luna, and Cadence worked closely together to work with the umbrum and bring them into Equestrian society.
