The oldest child of a small family from Las Pegasus, her childhood was troubled. Her parents separated when she was young, after having several children to try to save their marriage. It was because of this separation, and their failed attempts at saving their relationship, that made Dazzling Day decide to study Marriage Counselling. It didn’t take long after she started learning about it to discover her talent in it.  
She now works as a professional Marriage Counsellor, and is quite well known where she came from. But she decided she wanted a change of pace, so she moved to Ponyville, where many of her clients from her previous home still come to see her.
