Brush with Death, Touch of Life
For Kalimoo-Art and Imuzo of their newly designed OCs Nebula Naqua and Yami :3

The more I worked on this, the more I quite liked their yin yang like designs! This is kinda my headcanon for the characters but Naqua is a unicorn of life and creation giving both creatures and plants life through the dust of the cosmos so in turn she is kind and full of life herself finding joy simply through the way life itself is beautiful, unpredictable, and complicated. 


Her counterpart Yami lords over death and shows that by his simpler appearance and more sombre attitude reflecting how while life is complex, death is the constant of the world and a much simpler affair. There are very few things that will bring even a small smile to his face but Naqua is definitely the first. 


However as different as the concepts might be life and death are forever tied together kinda the whole "life has been in love with death for as long as time, life sends death gifts and death keeps them forever" image comes to mind.
