You roll a 13 (required 9). Success!
 
Determined to win the creature over, you reply that everypony has magic within themselves; the magic of love!
 
Creature: “Evol fo cigam…?”
 
You nod, and as a shining example of such magic, you pull out the magical ring of alter sex. You take a moment to recount the romantic story of its creation, and even put it on to prove how truly powerful it really is.
 
You equip Ring of Alter Sex. You are now a stallion.
 
Creature: “Suoiruc… deretla saw ydob ruoy.”
 
Showing off your new features, you tell the creature that purely through the power of love, a group of mares could achieve the impossible! But when you are met with a confused expression, you try explaining how ponies are otherwise made. Yet again, more confusion.
 
Creature: “Ygoloib ruoy htiw railimaf ton era ew.”
 
Moonflower: “Ooh! Ooh! Let’s teach ‘em how it works! And this time, I wanna be in the middle!”
 
Apple Basket: “Middle? Uh, heh, I-I think I ought’a sit this one out.”
 
Moonflower: “Aww, you sure? It’s fun!”
 
Apple Basket: “Uh, yeah, I’m sure! This is a bit of a crowd, and to be honest, I ain’t too confident. But uh, maybe next time?”
 
Taking that as a promise, Moonflower nuzzles a flustered Apple Basket, then trots over to you excitedly. You invite the others to come have a closer look, and begin to explain the process as best you can, starting with a couple of basic anatomy lessons.
 
Then, after some preparations, you and your bat pony assistant begin to demonstrate in front of the two curious onlookers, all the while doing your best to offer relevant commentary — and a good view of the action. Soon enough, the experience bestows upon your observers a better understanding of life…
 
With the demonstrations over, you and Moonflower take a short break in the boat’s cabin to wash up, before rejoining the others up on the island’s horn.
 
Apple Basket: “… ‘bout a hundred moons for a foal to grow into an adult, I’d say. Oh, welcome back, y’all! I reckon we both learned at least a few things here.”
 
Creature: “Evitamrofni saw ti, eerga ew. Efil wen etaerc ot desu si cigam os?”
 
You tell the creature that magic can be used for all sorts of things, and that if used right, it can certainly help make the world a better place. At that, the creature hesitates.
 
Creature: “Suoigatnoc si epoh ruoy. Su ekam cigam dluoc tub… uoy ekil erom?”
