See if you can sneak up behind it. There should be a damage bonus for back attacks, which should help you penetrate it’s defenses. Worst comes to worst, you can always just flee, golems are not known for their speed.

You roll a three…

Blood Edge quietly moves closer to the golem, but as he attempts to stab it in the back with his longsword, the creature suddenly turns around. The warlock attempts to dodge away from massive turning limb, but he is hit in midair, taking one damage, and sent flying back toward the group.

Opaline: “That doesn’t bode well…”

Dawn Break: “You have entered combat. Due to the failed surprise attack, Blood Edge will act last.”

Rolling for initiative, Moonflower gets a thirteen, Sea Swirl a nine, and Sweet Biscuit a twenty.

Sweet Biscuit: “And there goes all my luck for tonight!”

Opaline casts a spell, and a burst of bubbling light heals Blood Edge back to full health.

Whirlpool: “Squire, distract it while I prepare to strike it down!”

Tailkicker: “M’on it!”

Tailkicker swiftly runs to the other side of the golem, and swings her shortsword at its chest as she passes by. Although the hit deals no visible damage, it catches the creature’s attention.

Meanwhile, Whirlpool casts a spell, and her body begins to charge up with electricity.

The golem turns to face Tailkicker, and swings one of its arms at her. The fighter is knocked back, and takes two damage, but she stands her ground.
