What? You telling me there’s something immersion-breaking about a society that has yet to widely embrace electricity, has previously showcased only very primitive electronics and has no equivalent of the internet breaking out tablet PCs and iPhones?
I can at least appreciate the design detail of the hoof groove on the back of the phone, it’s a nice detail.
I’m still worried the inclusion of modern tech is going to ruin a fantasy setting they tried to build and/or be used as a lazy vehicle for inserting modern meme culture into G5 to appeal to the kids that will likely be dated by the time it’s included and reek of “how do you do fellow kids”.

That’s what they’re doing in Pony Life. The insistent inclusion of tablets sticks out so badly in the setting.
