((Sort of lost in the midst thus far of some of the bigger effects of Secrets of the Dragon’s Tear’s story for future things usually with mostly lore expansions and just about everything to do with Starlight. Is the fact now Pear Butter and Bright Mac despite being dead can now fully interact with the present time cast and be asked questions, but I also didn’t include them just for that alone.
 
There’s been a mystery that’s had a non-answer since the Season 4 episode where Pinkie and Applejack tried to investigate whether they were related or not (Which was even lampooned in Fame and Misfortune). I’m happy to show that at least in Genie Twi’s universe. There is a distinct answer, and the how will be shown soon enough. (But gradually over at least a few weeks or more depending on how I decide to structure the rest of it)
 
Originally, I was going to have Pinkie hug Pear Butter in Secrets of the Dragon’s Tear to suddenly reveal a relation (Though if you read closely to Pinkie and Pear Butter’s conversation as AJ was introducing her friends to her parents, you may notice I left something of a hint at this) but I felt the story was already long enough and decided to save this until sometime after the story. The story already had a huge family mystery around Starlight’s family unraveled, I didn’t know if it was right to also go heavy onto the relation between the Apples and/or Pears, and the Pies too. Plus, I don’t think it quite connects to the overarching story of both the whole series and the blog’s interpretation of events like Starlight’s does. Besides, I think there’s some things in this that I couldn’t have been thought about quickly enough if I had tried to implement it into SOTDT
 
I guess while I’m at it, I should link the most relevant chapters related to Pear Butter and Bright Mac.
