Illustration from chapter fifty three of ‘Expedition to the Cloudbreak Islands ‘, based on an online RP. Summer Scribe finally gets what’s coming to her, touching an ancient magical artefact in defiance of the sphinx’s warning. Now her body has been disintegrated and her consciousness trapped inside a golden statue, but it’s not all bad - she can make life-sized ceramic replicas of herself and possess them, at least until she annoys Azure Feather to the point of shattering her. How exactly they’re going to sneak this priceless, conspicuous and extremely heavy treature out past the sphinxes guarding the pyramid remains to be seen.
