he Apple family would be no where without it’s strong matriarchal leadership, going back generations

So here we have Little Anne Smith with her mother Sewin’ Appleseed and grandmother Apple Delight. These two mares would definitely have to be her main role models in life!
Then, later on in years, when her son Bright Macintosh marries the lovely Buttercup, Anne Smith graduates to Granny Smith with the introduction of her grandchildren. Granny considered (and still does tbh) Buttercup her daughter, fully adopting her into the family, after…that night. And, while Jubilee may be the eldest, Granny could tell from a young age that Applejack was definitely headed to be the new matriarch of the apple family once she was all grown. And that she was! (with her sisters and wife beside her of course)
Which brings us to the latest generation: That of AJ’s daughter Honey Crisp and Honey’s lil girl Jersey Macintosh. Jersey may look…different from the Apple ladies of the past, but she’s got that hardy, can do spirit that they all had! She’ll make a fine leader one day…But for now, she just screeches
