And here is the most celebrated couple in all of Equestria, the rulers of the lost Crystal Empire - Prince Shining Armor and Princess Cadance!
Both the Captain of the Canterlot Royal Guard and the Princess of Love, and yet they are the perfect couple - wise, strong, kind and fair. It was always their destiny to fall in love and rule the Crystal Empire side by side. They were also brought together by a Unicorn they’ve known and loved since they were young, Twilight Sparkle. Shining Armor was her older brother, whom she affectionately call him her “BBBFF” (Big Brother Best Friend Forever), and Cadance, who foalsitted Twilight Sparkle, was regarded by her “the greatest foal-sitter in all the history of foal-sitters.” And while Twilight was happy to have these two special ponies in her life, they were even happier to be in each other’s lives.
Years later, Twilight was received an invitation to be to his wedding… with Cadance! Twilight’s childhood friends were to be wed.. But little did they know, somepony else had other intentions. The evil Queen Chrysalis of the Changelings found Equestria ripe with more love than anywhere else, but she and her hive could not penetrate the barrier projected by Canterlot’s Captain of the Royal Guard, who was Shining Armor. Chrysalis kidnapped Cadance and imprisoned her in a cave beneath Canterlot, then using her Changeling powers, the wicked fiend disguised herself as the princess to fool her fiancé and everypony else. Everypony that is except Twilight Sparkle herself. Instead of recognizing her beautiful-hearted, caring, and kind foalsitter, Twilight noticed how demanding, insincere, and rude she seemed to be. When Twilight tried to expose her ruse, Chrysalis trapped her in the caves beneath the capital of Equestria, where she found the true Cadance, and the two managed to escape, and expose the evil imposter. Chrysalis used Shining Armor to weaken the barrier, and her Changeling subjects swarmed Canterlot, defeating even Twilight and her friends. But after Cadance freed Shining from the Changeling queen’s vile spell, the two ponies used the power of their true love to banish the evil Chrysalis and her horde from Equestria. Cadance and Shining Armor were then officially married and became the rulers of the returning Crystal Empire.
But their honeymoon had been interrupted by the dark lord, King Sombra, who threatened to take back his dominion. Cadance used her magic to power a protective barrier to fend him off, leaving her haggard and weary. And after Shining Armor had his horn cursed by Sombra, hope seemed lost. Fortunately, Twilight and her dragon assistant, Spike, retrieved the Crystal Heart, and Cadance fastened it to the crystal pillars under the castle. The Crystal Ponies fueled the heart with their love and light, and King Sombra and his evil were destroyed. Once again, Cadance brought love and light into a dark and hopeless world, and she would continue to this day with her beloved Shining Armor at her side.
But their love for each other would do more than protect Equestria, but also bring a new light and love. They had a baby! Although she was a handful, especially since she was an Alicorn, baby Flurry Heart was Shining Armor and Cadance’s pride and joy. And despite the Crystal Heart temporarily destroyed by the baby’s cries and the return of King Sombra, the royal family would never waver. Their love will always be the inspiration and hope of all Equestria and beyond.

Well that’s all my H&H Day cards. For this, I believe this pose works perfectly. The only changes I had to make was the expression, to give them a more loving glance to share with each other. As for the sentiment, the bottom one is a greeting for the holiday. I don’t know the top one is perfect. Tell me what you think. What is a better line?
