Tabletop roleplaying: Where arguing about how a darn thing works actually has a chance to save the world.

Bit of news: I’m now taking submissions for guest comics! With plenty of time, to boot: Almost a couple of months away. I’ll need a break between this arc and the next, so I’d love to let some other authors play with the concept again! You can find all the submissions rules here.

Shining Armor: And let me guess: I don’t have enough power to use my unique barrier spell either.
DM: Well, of course! And what would be the point if you did? Queen Chrysalis’s army is already inside Canterlot. Her changelings are rounding up and capturing every pony in the capital as we speak. All you’d be doing by casting the spell is trapping all the ponies inside with their pursuers.
Shining Armor: But it says here my power has two modes: Protect and Repel. And I can choose who gets repelled.
DM: Oh, right, I did give you that. But that selective repel on a mass scale would take incredible power you just don’t have.
Twilight Sparkle: *UNLESS…!*
DM: Oh great, here we go.
