Fluttershy, if you ask me, would be a great Goddess of Fertility. She cares for and about those who can’t care for themselves, and makes the effort to have others join her.
 
This goddess of fertility is a gentle, motherly figure. She offers guidance and wisdom when it comes to caring for the newborn and aids women in childbirth, and will occasionally cure the infirtility of mortal women. She wears a gown that is made to fit around her body perfectly no matter what size she is. Her breasts are very large due to the nurturing milk she carries in them. On her belly is a pattern of spirals. The smallest one signifies a newborn, the middle one to which the smallest is attached represents the mother who has just given birth, and the largest that surrounds the other two signifies the father whose job it is to protect the mother while she nurses the baby. Some call this pattern the “family circle” because these are almost always drawn within a circle. On her sleeves is the likeness of vines with leaves, the bottom of the gown has stars that sparkle as she moves around, and she wears three flowers to one side in her hair. Because of her massive womb, the Goddess moves more slowly and with a waddle to her step.
 
To earn the favor of the Goddess of Fertility men and women must treat her with respect and just like they would any other person. This has proven more difficult for men because of her indescribable beauty. As Goddess of Fertility, Fluttershy can be appeased with offerings of her favorite foods.
 
Most of the time that Fluttershy is needed, she goes to women who are expecting a child because she sees they are struggling with anxiety of some sort. She spends some time with them and tells them what they must do in order to make the anxiety go away. Quite often she also goes to a household that has an ill baby. Fluttershy will then nurse the baby and sing a lullaby to him or her. After a day or two the child will be well and Fluttershy wishes the family the very best before leaving.
 
As the Goddess of Fertility, Fluttershy’s husband is the God of the Harvest. A god who is physically strong and watches over the fields and crops of those who worship him. He carries with him a hoe that he uses to plow the ground for the planting of crops.
