Page 1481 - Friend and Foe
12th Jan 2021, 6:00 AM in A Canterlot Wedding, Part 2Giving smart, tactical, knowledgeable players a challenge can be an uphill struggle, especially as it becomes more clear that they’re kind of smarter than you.
DM: Alright, that’s your minor and standard actions, you’ve still got a move action left.
Applejack: Yeah yeah, Ah know. Not a whole lot of places Ah can go. Ah guess Ah’ll move on over to Twilight here, get all back-to-back.
DM: I see! Well then!
Twilight Sparkle: Uhhh, that’s not me.
Applejack: Ahh, gosh dang it.
DM: HAHA! I gotchu! I finally fooled one of you!
Applejack: First of all, Ah was just a little distracted. Second, Ah didn’t attack my real friends, just moved next to a fake. Ah’ve been in melee range of fakes this whole time.
DM: Well I’m still going to take it. It’s not often I get the drop on any of you at this point.
SFX: (POUNCE!)
Applejack: As long as yer havin’ fun, Ah Guess.
DM: I’m having my moments.
