Hey guys. I’m so sorry that I never posted the rest of these as promised. I’ve been extremely conflicted on what to say about this whole thing. This convention was an extremely mixed bag. It’s something that I consider to be my biggest accomplishment and my biggest failure at the same time and I’m still living with the consequences from it.
I wanted to tell you all the story about Ponycon, the work that went into it, how this comic came about and the eventual financial failure that it became. So much stuff happened behind the scenes that was never made public.
I wanted to kind of tie this whole thing together, after months of consideration I’ve decided that I’ll go ahead and tell you everything that happened with this whole thing, clear the air a bit and get it off my chest.
There are three pages after this. The next one will tell you all about how the comic came together, the one after that will be about how the convention came together and its eventual failure and the last one will talk about what our plans for the future were so you could get an idea of what we wanted to do going forward.
If you’re not interested in all the drama though, feel free to just read through the final pages here and enjoy, I think this comic came together really great and everyone involved with it put their hearts and souls into its creation, Acesential and Crowne Prince especially.
Also if you want a physical copy I’m thinking of bringing a box full of them to Bronycon
