Backstory (TW: Attempted murder): Poison Rose was born as a princess in the kingdom of Trottingholm. As a foal, she did what almost every filly would have dreamed of, going to dance class to become a ballerina. One Hearth’s Warming Day, however, she was given a princess doll instead of a ballerina doll that she wanted by her parents, which caused her to secretly set the palace on fire and never return to Trottingholm ever again. Fortunately, her parents and all the royal servants there had survived, but they have not heard from Poison Rose since. Poison Rose earned her cutie mark on that day, and depite all of that, she kept her royal title as Princess.
 
Years later, Poison Rose resided in Canterlot. While there, she also dyed the bottom of her mane and tail red to prevent anyone from recognizing her as the missing princess. Because she was desperate for money and fortune, she went on to date several stallions, all of whom she tried to kill, but failed:  
A medical student: Poison Rose wanted to dine with him, but he couldn’t because he was too busy with his studies. She tried to kill him by poisoning his food, and he ended up suffering from food poisoning, but it wasn’t too serious, much to her chagrin.  
A bartender: Poison Rose wanted a whiskey, but he told her there was none. She tried to kill him with an axe, but he ran away from her.  
A technician: Poison Rose tried to kill him by drowning him in the bathtub because he would not buy her a tablet, but fortunately, the technician was a very good swimmer.  
Poison Rose’s fourth (and final) ex, Bravo Bond, met her during a mission, and took her in as his date after noticing how affectionate she was. However, they frequently had arguments over money and plans, which resulted in Bravo having anger issues. Fortunately, for Bravo, after meeting and saving Vivera Belle, he changed his behavior and started spending time with her more. Although Poison Rose was furious about this, and accused Vivera Belle of “stealing” Bravo from her. Because Poison Rose thought that Bravo Bond didn’t love her enough, she had no choice but to try to kill him. Thankfully, Vivera Belle was able to save Bravo and get the authorities involved before it was too late. While Bravo and Vivera officially ended up together, Poison Rose, on the other hand, was caught by the royal guards of Canterlot and sentenced to 15 years in Canterlot Prison for her atrocious actions, where she currently resides there. Whether or not she’ll escape and find another stallion is truly unknown.

Anyway, that aside, I’ve always wanted to make a villain OC with bright and pretty colors because I’m kinda sick of the belief that all villains are supposed to be scary-looking or have dark colors in order to be good. Well, if it’s okay to have pastel-colored heroes, then why not villains? I mean, villains like that exist. My inspiration for this OC mostly came from Debbie Jellinsky from Addams Family Values (Love that movie, btw).
 
In case you’re wondering, yes, Trottingholm is a made-up location in Equestria. The name itself is a reference to the Drottningholm Palace in Sweden.
 
Feel free to draw Poison Rose, but remember that she’s a villain, and I do NOT want people to think that liking villains means that I condone their actions.
